AI helps draft articles, quizzes and explainers. Automated checks catch some structural and editorial issues, but cannot establish that every claim is correct. Articles do not all receive human review. Check the linked source material before relying on a claim, especially for a health, financial or legal decision.

AI-generated illustrations are not photographs of reported events. Sources are credited for their material, not as authors or endorsers of NextGen News's summaries or illustrations.

Sources and context

Articles name their sources. Reality Lab includes links to its source material. We avoid clickbait, political persuasion and opinion presented as fact.

Difficult news

We do not publish graphic violence, hateful content or bullying. Reporting on conflict, disasters and other difficult events includes context and avoids graphic detail.

No social features

There are no comments, chat rooms, likes, shares, or public posting. Readers cannot contact one another through the site.

No account needed to read

Anyone can read articles and take quizzes without logging in. An optional reader account saves reading progress and quiz results.

Advertising

We do not use behavioral advertising or profile readers for ads. Any future ads would be contextual and clearly labeled.

Minimal data

We collect only what is needed for a feature to work. Signed-in account data and reading progress are stored with Supabase. Readers can access their own account data and delete it from their account page.
