Trust & Safety
Facts first, source-led, and calm enough to think clearly.
Our safety promise
We check content before it goes live, explain difficult events without graphic detail, and keep the product free from social pressure loops.
Facts first
We publish verified facts, name sources, avoid clickbait, and do not push opinions or political persuasion.
No toxicity
We do not publish graphic violence, hateful content, bullying, or manipulative social features. Important difficult news is handled calmly, with context instead of spectacle.
No social features
There are no comments, chat rooms, likes, shares, or public posting. Strangers cannot contact children through the site.
No account needed to read
Anyone can read articles without logging in. If a family signs in, counted reads and quiz completion can sync to the child's account so a linked parent can see it.
No targeted ads to children
We will never serve behavior-based or profiled advertising to children. Any future ads would be contextual only and clearly labeled.
Minimal data
We collect only what is needed for a feature to work. Signed-in account data and linked-family progress live in Supabase behind row-level security.
